Perry caps mixed round with lead at Senior PGA

Kenny Perry had an eagle, five birdies and four bogeys, mixing spectacular shots with stumbles and doing enough of the right things for a 3-under 68 and a two-stroke lead Saturday after the third round of the Senior PGA Championship.

Moreno bogey-free for 12 holes, tops on LPGA

Paola Moreno of Colombia played another bogey-free round on a 12-hole golf course and takes a one-shot lead in the Bahamas LPGA Classic.

Kuchar uses late birdie to keep Colonial lead

Matt Kuchar made a 12-foot birdie putt at the 16th hole to regain the lead near the end of a long Saturday at Colonial, and led four players by a stroke after three rounds.

Charlotte Chapter Championship Volunteers Needed

Join us June 1st for the Chapter Championship. Good luck to all the participants and we still need a few volunteers that day to help the event run smoothly. Contact Fannie Jemison secretary@ewgacharlotte.org.  Contact Kip Randolph at sponsorship@ewgacharlotte.org if you would like to sponsor a hole for $50.
   
Next Weekend Tour is June 8th at Larkhaven with format as Competitive 1 v 1 Match Play or individual stroke play.

Volunteers Needed

We all know that EWGA is an outstanding organization. But it can become even better with the help of the successful, bright and enthusiastic women who make up our membership. Become a volunteer! You will have the opportunity to learn new skills or grow existing ones. It's a great way to make new friends and business contacts! Please don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

Do you love to write or design? Are you interested in media or advertising? Have fun while helping out with our newsletter, marketing, website and more!
Education
Are you on a never ending quest to improve your game? Well, this is the committee for you! We need you to help plan, organize and attend learning clinics. Network with local golf pros and create fun learning opportunities.
Social Events
Do you love to party? Help us plan, organize (and of course attend!) social and networking events and non-competitive golf outings.
Leagues and Weekend Tour
Get involved in the decision process for setting up leagues. Consider being a league coordinator - what a great way to network and golf! Have a favorite course you'd like to act as host for an EWGA golf outing this year? Let us know!
Membership
Help recruit existing and potential new members! Plan the annual Kickoff Event! Spread the good word of EWGA!
Sponsorship
Are you a born salesperson? Don't take "no" for an answer? Well then help us secure corporate sponsors to keep our programs vital.
General Volunteer Pool
Not sure you can commit to a committee position? Then the general volunteer pool is for you! We'll draw from this pool for one-time requests as stuffing envelopes, working registration tables, and setting up for events, etc.

Whether you are new to Charlotte or a longtime resident, new to golf or an experienced player, if you are interested in playing golf with other women, then the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) is for you.

Through the many activities offered by EWGA Charlotte, you will meet women in all professions, and at all levels of golf skills. EWGA Charlotte offers organized play programs, fun and networking, golf education programs, and the ability to expand your network of friends and contacts. You can also take advantage of our golf trips, as well as regional tournaments and the EWGA Annual Conference and Championship.   Would you like to be a part of EWGA Charlotte?
