First Tee and Girls Golf LPGA - USGA Events - Volunteers Needed

First Tee could use some help with LPGA-USGA Girls Golf events this summer.

The program is solely aimed at promoting the game of golf to girls ages 7-18.  Volunteers are needed to assist  with the scheduled Play-Days for Girls Golf (June 24; 4:30pm-7:00pm, July 15; 4:30pm-7:00pm and August 10; 4:30pm-7:00pm).  Volunteers will assist groups as they play a 9-hole tournament.  Volunteers will walk along with each group of girls and help with pace of play, etc. as the girls play 9-holes.  The skill level of the girls is mainly beginner-intermediate so just some overall help in keeping the girls up with the group in front of them and encouraging them along the way.  They usually play a fun format like a scramble as to not take too long with stroke play.

To volunteer,  please contact Emily Bist at ebist@thefirstteecharlotte.org
